Choice Press Return Policy

At Choice Press, we strive to ensure satisfaction across all levels of our publishing and distribution channels. Our return policies are aligned with standard publishing industry practices and apply differently to individual consumers, wholesale accounts, and retail booksellers.

1. Consumers (Direct-to-Consumer Orders)

Eligibility:
Consumers may return any physical product purchased directly from Choice Press within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, excluding shipping fees.

Conditions for Return:

  • Item must be in new, unused condition.

  • Returns must include all original packaging and materials.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was defective or shipped in error.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Digital downloads or eBooks.

  • Personalized, signed, or custom-printed products.

  • Final sale or clearance items.

2. Wholesale Accounts

Eligibility:
Wholesale customers may return unsold books in resalable condition within 120 days of invoice date, pending prior approval.

Return Conditions:

  • A Return Authorization Request must be submitted and approved in advance.

  • Books must be unmarked, undamaged, and free of stickers.

  • A 15% restocking fee may apply for wholesale returns.

  • Credit will be issued upon inspection, minus original shipping charges.

Non-Returnable:

  • Custom print runs or specialty orders.

  • Titles marked as “Non-Returnable” on the invoice or product listing.

3. Retail Bookstores (Trade Retailers)

As is standard in the book publishing industry, Choice Press accepts returns from retail bookstores at any time, without penalty or restocking fees, provided the following conditions are met:

Return Guidelines:

  • Returns must be accompanied by the original invoice or packing slip.

  • Returned books must be in clean, resalable condition: no damage, markings, price stickers, or shelf wear.

  • Credit will be issued for the full invoice value (excluding shipping).

  • Retailers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Defective or Damaged Items:
Please report within 10 business days of receipt. We will replace or refund at our discretion and cover return shipping.

  • All returns should be sent to our designated return address listed on the original invoice or packaging.
